You are acting as a consultant for a fictional Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturer called Tundra EV. They manufacture and sell an electric SUV called the Tundra EV X. The Tundra EV X is fully electric with rugged off-road capability and a range of 250 miles on a 1 hour charge.
You have been asked to advise the company on how they can use consumer behaviour theories and models to improve their marketing of the Tundra EV X.
You should produce a report for the company’s marketing team that:
i) evaluates and critiques at least three consumer behaviour theories or models that you believe will help the Tundra EV X marketing team in their work, justifying why they are likely to be useful and backing up your argument with academic research and evidence;
ii) explains how these theories or models can be applied to Tundra EV’s market context, illustrating your discussion with examples;
iii) makes recommendations for ways in which the marketing team can use information about consumer decisions to inform their marketing activity in the future. The marketing team have provided you with access to some information to support you with your task:
