Internship Assignment — General Management Intern (Global Trend)
Hey there!
Thanks for applying to join Global Trend as a General Management Intern. We’re looking for someone who can think fast, stay calm, and manage chaos like a pro. This assignment is designed to test your real-world judgment, communication skills, and leadership mindset.
Assignment Task: Problem-Solving Scenario (Critical Thinking)
Scenario:
You’re managing a busy workday and face the following situations:
1. The writer submitted a blog that’s grammatically perfect but feels boring and generic.
2. The designer sent eye-catching creatives but completely ignored the brand color guidelines.
3. The SEO specialist has missed keyword research deadlines for two weeks in a row.
4. The director suddenly asks you to rearrange their schedule due to a last-minute personal emergency.
Your Task:
• How would you handle all of this in one day without letting the team feel overwhelmed or demotivated?
• Write a short action plan outlining:
o The order you’d handle each task
o How you’d communicate with each team member (your tone, key messages, and reasoning)
We’re not looking for robotic responses. We want realistic, smart, and thoughtful solutions.
Important Note:
If we suspect the use of AI-generated content (ChatGPT, etc.) without personal input, the application will be automatically rejected. We want to hear your voice, not a bot’s.
Deadline: You have 3 days from receiving this assignment to submit it via Internshala.
We can’t wait to see how you think under pressure — good luck!
