While there are many considerations when thinking about social media and your professional career, there are certainly advantages to using social media when seeking a job, specifically using something like LinkedIn.
If you haven’t set up a LinkedIn account, and do not wish to set one up, use this LinkedIn profile template [DOCX] Download LinkedIn profile template [DOCX]to create a mock LinkedIn profile in a Word document. Identify one of the recommendations from the chapter to incorporate in your LinkedIn profile.
Share a link to your profile or attach the completed mock profile document to the discussion. Share what change or addition you chose to incorporate into your profile and why.
Review the profiles of at least two other classmates or profile suggestions and identify one strength and one area for improvement. Be sure to provide rationale from the text or other sources.
