University of Technology Systems Analysis and Design Paper – Description
My title for the assignment is Point of Sale System.
Assignment (Analysis)
Refer to notes on analysis and design. For the title you selected, list all features (use cases) as per
the library example, draw a use case diagram and give the use case specifications for same.
Note: (use an Excel sheet for the uses cases and then convert to PDF). Use the StarUML
software to draw the use case diagram.
All your works should be submitted in PDF format. Your name, student id and cohort should be
clearly indicated.
The Analysis Report should contain the following
Brief Introduction
The list of features in the form of a table
Use Case diagram(s)
Use Case Specifications
Input Design (Form, Dialog Box)
Output Design (Output on Screen, paper)
Database Design (List of tables and attributes and Data Types)
Note: For input and output design, hand sketches will be enough. Else you may use any other
software for the design.
