TU Employment Law For Business – Description

Develop an analysis with management tips for each of the assignment cases. At least two outside sources other than the textbook must be cited. While working at Stew’s Kitchen, Jenny, a waitress, complains to her boss that, Tom, a frequent customer of the restaurant, has been engaging in inappropriate behavior including calling her suggestive names, repeatedly asking her on dates, and “accidentally” rubbing against her. Jenny tells her boss about the issue, requests that Tom be asked to stop, and that she not be required to wait on him in the future. Jenny’s boss, Richard, says he will look into the matter. Since Richard doesn’t want to upset one of his best customers, he puts the matter off for a few weeks, and when he eventually does get around to dealing with it, he tells Tom only that he should lighten-up on Jenny. Richard does nothing about Jenny’s request to be relieved of any obligation to wait on Tom.
