TU Consulting Services Persuasive Elevator Speech – Description
For this assignment, you will create a brief (30 second), persuasive elevator speech that you could use to spark interest in your consulting services. In today’s global world, we need to be prepared to perform an elevator pitch (i.e. one that could be completed in a short elevator ride) both in writing and in person. This week’s assignment will work on your pitch in writing. Construct this pitch as if you are selling your services as a consultant in your own field of work, or the field you hope to work in.
In your pitch:
Make a clear introduction, identify your goals and explain what you do.
Share your skills and what makes you/your company unique.
Engage your audience with a question, and wrap it up.
The purpose of this assignment is to develop your own personal pitch with all of the components listed above. It should be completed in 30 spoken seconds or no more than 250 words. In addition to your 250 words, include a subject line that grabs the recipient’s attention and gets them to open your email.
