Your Task
This assessment is to be completed individually. In TECH8000 IT Capstone Assessment, you will design and deliver a recommended artefact model to the client in the form of a presentation.
Please note: You will be required to use the same organization for all assessments in this subject.

Assessment Description
This assessment is designed to assess your ability to present research findings related to a client’s IT problem.
It is recommended to attend Weeks 10 to 12 workshops as they will be dedicated to presentation guidelines.

This assessment aims to achieve the following subject learning outcomes:

LO2: Collaborate with colleagues in the completion of IT-based research activities.LO3: Recommend and critically analyze multi-disciplinary IT solutions.LO4: Defend research findings and solutions to a client.

Assessment Instructions

Students must conduct external research and include references to produce a well-referenced assessment. You should use at least ten (10) sources of information and reference these in accordance with the Kaplan Harvard Referencing Style. These may include websites, social media sites, industry reports, census data, journal articles, and newspaper articles. These references should be presented as in-text citations and in a referencing list at the end of your assessment (not included in the word limit). Wikipedia and other ‘popular’ sites are not to be used.You must submit your presentation in a recorded video format using Kaltura via MyKBS. You aren’t required to submit the presentation slides as your slides and your face will be present in the video recording.The presentation should include the following topics:Client Understanding: Familiarize yourself with the client’s IT-based requirements and organizational context, considering the client’s industry-specific challenges.Multi-disciplinary IT Solutions: Recommend multi-disciplinary IT solutions that critically analyze and address the client’s complex problems. Integrate advanced concepts, theories, and frameworks from different disciplines to develop innovative and effective solutions.Artefact Model Design: Design an artefact model (e.g., presentation slides, interactive prototype, visual demonstration) that effectively communicates the recommended model to the client. Ensure the artefact model is visually appealing, well-structured, and tailored to address the specific concerns of the client.Presentation Delivery: Prepare a compelling presentation based on the artefact model design to deliver to the client.Professionalism and Communication: Demonstrate professionalism, resilience, and effective communication skills throughout the assessment, especially when interacting with the client.Please refer to the assessment marking guide to assist you in completing all the assessment criteria.
