Purpose:
The purpose of this Project is to provide students with an opportunity to apply their course knowledge of Digital Marketing, Human Resources Management, Applied Accounting or Banking and Financial Technology in alignment to their program and BUSG4301. The Project involves program specific knowledge, theoretical and practical concepts, leverage organization’s competitiveness, career path, team building and communication skills that may enhance the workplace or career path, if implemented.
Individually students will complete the presentation including CLO1, CLO2, CLO3, CLO4 and CLO5
Instructions:
Report
1. Create a report including the following:
a. Previous knowledge: Include the knowledge developed or enhanced while enrolled in the program prior to enrolling in the course BUSG4301.
b. Experience on Work Placement: Include the application of knowledge developed or enhanced at work placement.
c. Apply knowledge in the future: Include how both previous knowledge and experience on work placement will be applied to a future career.
2. The report is to be in APA format (Resource: UDST Library or Learning Commons)
3. The report should have a minimum of 1500 words.
Updated CV/Career Portfolio
4. Updated CV/Career Portfolio:
a. CV needs to be updated so it is current (2024).
5. Career Portfolio:
a. Include what is applicable within the career portfolio for the field of study (Applied Accounting, Digital Marketing, Human Resources Management or Banking and Financial Technology)
b. The goal of the Career Portfolio that the portfolio can be used in real world employment applications. The portfolio should be visually-pleasing and professional.
c. Career Portfolio components are:

ii. Mission Statement
iii. Resume
iv. Professional Accomplishments
v. Work Samples
vi. Professional Development (degrees, licenses, certificated or LinkedIn certificates and a Gantt chart outlining your professional and academic plans for the next 5-years.

viii. Professional references
6. Upon completion of the report, updated CV/Career Portfolio upload all three to the dropbox on D2L.
