This essay will focus on synthesizing your ideas with the ideas of at least 3-4 secondary sources in the analysis of one or more literary selections from our text. Emphasis will be on data collection and retrieval, including electronic data retrieval.
This is a literary analysis of a theme in one of the poems we’ve read. Specifically, Writing Project #2 is a research-based essay that combines your ideas and sources’ ideas. The paper will analyze the significance of one theme within one or more poems. The length will be 4 pages. The format will follow MLA style. The paper will present a thesis-based argument from your close reading of the poetry. In addition to the primary source(s) you choose to use, you should plan to add at least four secondary sources from our library’s databases.
