Your framework should consist of 3-4 developmental theories. Some suggestions would include the work of Bowlby, Vygotsky, Piaget, Bandura, and Erickson.
After you have set up your framework, make a section detailing the strengths and weaknesses of these theories. State at least one strengths and one weakness for each theory.
Example:
Bandura’s Social Learning Theory-
One of the major strengths of Bandura’s Social Learning Theory (SLT) is that it explains how learning can occur even without direct reinforcement. Through observation and imitation of others, individuals can acquire new skills and behaviors, even if they have never been directly rewarded for doing so (Kail &Cavanagh, 2016). This is a significant departure from traditional behaviorist theories, which emphasized the role of reinforcement in shaping behavior.
While SLT acknowledges the role of individual factors such as self-efficacy and perceived outcome expectations, it doesn’t fully explain why individuals differ in their learning outcomes even when exposed to the same models and environments (Kail & Cavanagh, 2016). This can be a limitation in understanding the complex interplay between social influences and individual characteristics in shaping behavior.
Background factors are things that teens experience that may be challenges for them. This may include social media addiction, family conflict, bullying, drug use…etc.
Don’t forget to cite for any sentence that you present information that is not your own or not common knowledge and keep your reader engaged with BOLD sub-headings.
