The Chicago University Organizational Leadership Through the Analysis Presentation – Description
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of organizational leadership through the analysis of Iggy’s Bread of the World. Specifically, each student will develop a 20-minute presentation (roughly 18 to 22 slides) with presentation notes that address the following areas:The essential elements of the case with regards to the critical concepts of leadership.A categorization of the case by the theory of leadership the best fits the elements, citing both the textbook and articles to demonstrate linkage between the case and the readings. Be sure to consider at least three theories.Using the best fit theory, provide an overall diagnosis as to whether the leadership at Iggy’s is effective or not. Be sure to state and explain the rationale for your diagnosis.A prognosis as to whether leadership will get better or worse without intervention and be sure to state and explain the rationale for your prognosis.Two comprehensive recommendations for how leadership can be strengthened at Iggy’s.Discuss how improvements will be evaluated and measured. Be sure to list the advantages and trade-offs of the recommendations, and to anchor your recommendations in both the literature and your practical experiences.
