Assessment Details and Instructions
Assessment 2 builds upon the work you started in Assessment 1.
In Assessment 2, you are tasked with submitting a project funding proposal, where you’ll
provide a detailed outline of how you intend to address the problem you identified in
Assessment 1 using a community development and/or advocacy approach. We’ve
provided a template on Moodle to assist you, and your proposal should span 2500
words.
This Assessment carries a significant weight of 50% in your overall grade. Be sure to
encompass all project phases, from concept design to evaluation, and substantiate your
arguments with at least seven references.
You will be assessed on the:
- Submission structure – use the template provided.
- Content – background research, analysis, references to the theory
- Comprehensive integration of all required components
- Clear structure followed and clarity of expression with attention to grammar
- References to the community development and advocacy literature – Use of at least
seven references using APA (7th edition) conventions. Please include URLs so the
reference can be easily located
How to do well in Assessment 2
- Research your topic well and clearly articulate the rationale and theoretical framework.
- Attend the scheduled consultation session.
- Use the library to find relevant literature, including eBooks.
- Pay attention to grammar, punctuation, spelling, and correct APA (7th edition)
referencing conventions.
