Introduction
This assignment provides you an opportunity to critique the delivery skills, structure, and content of your speeches. You can use these critiques for self-improvement.
Directions
What good is it to give a speech and not evaluate yourself? Each student will write a self-evaluation after the submission and due date of two assigned speech presentations. I understand that it is difficult to write about yourself, but it is possible, doable, and how we grow.
Your critique must be typed in Times New Roman or Arial format, size 12 font. Your document should have a cover page according to APA format (this will be page 1). Your second page will contain your content. Your content should start at the top of your page, using 1-inch margins. Do not center your work. Only use left alignment. Pay attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Do not submit one long paragraph. Use paragraphs, as it follows the rules of writing.
Reflect upon your own performance. Be honest with yourself. How did you feel completing the assignment (before, during, and after)? Were you satisfied or happy with your speech overall? Explain. What would you do differently if you could give your speech again? Discuss three strengths in detail. Discuss three areas of weakness that you observed (you may have to review your own work). Describe One or Two goals you will work on. Be sure to include an introduction and conclusion.
