I’m working on a business discussion question and need a reference to help me learn.

As deadlines fly whooshing around our heads, let’s think about the following questions:  
–      What do you think is less bad: giving an imperfect but workable solution or giving a solution at the wrong time? Give reasons for your answer.
–      Have you ever been impacted by someone else failing to meet a deadline? What did you learn and how do you avoid it happening again? 
–      Have you ever fallen into the trap of saying yes to your boss just to make them happier? What happened?
