Purpose
Descriptive/Informative Annotated Bibliography
Choose your research question. Determine Key Words and begin
your research. Choose at least 5 peer reviewed articles to review.
β€’ Choose your sources – Before writing your annotated
bibliography, you must choose your sources. This involves doing
research much like for any other project. Locate records to
materials that may apply to your topic.
β€’ Review the items – Then review the actual items and choose
those that provide a wide variety of perspectives on your topic.
Article abstracts are helpful in this process.
β€’ Write the citation and annotation – When writing your
annotation, the complete citation should always come first, and
the annotation follows. You will want to include all of the
following:
β€’ The purpose of the work
β€’ A summary of its content
β€’ Information about the author(s)
β€’ Its relevance to the topic
β€’ Research methodology
β€’ The strengths, weaknesses or biases in the material

points for incorrect grammar, spelling, etc. Use APA 7th ed.
β€’ The paper should be 3-4 pages. The paper should have a title
and reference page. The title and reference page are not
counted in the 3-4 pages.
β€’ Each question should be a header in the paper. All headers
are flush left. (Example: At what level are you measuring your
independent value? (flush left as header)
β€’ Each sentence should be a complete sentence
β€’ Please complete at least one in-text citation for each
question
β€’ Late assignments will not be accepted. This will be due on
Sunday night at 11:59. Any paper submitted after Sunday night
a$ 11:59 will not he accented or eraded.
