Your presentation should include the following points: roles of social workers describe the principles of cultural diversity appropriate for the selected setting and how an agency can adhere to the ethical responsibilities for cultural competence according to the NASW Code of Ethics. Describe the role of social workers in promoting cultural competency values within the agency and explain the risks of cultural incompetence. Give examples of ways that social workers can reassure clients and families that their culture and diverse needs will be considered and respected during treatment as they receive services. Describe their options for a course of action if they experience cultural discrimination or unethical behavior from social workers while receiving services.”
