Now that you have examined the impact that various organizational factors may have on project success, you will reflect on a specific project scenario that requires you to apply the project management concepts and best practices you have learned about in this workshop. Consider thee organizational structure and organizational culture described in this scenario and how the organizational factors may impact the project manager’s ability to successfully complete the project. Discuss the type of organizational structure the project manager is navigating, along with its unique benefits and disadvantages. Also describe how the PM can most effectively operate within the specific structure and culture of the company.

Write a business letter of concern to your manager using the following:
Assume that the work described in the CafeLatte scenario in assignment 2.3 is now ready to begin.
You have been assigned a team of 4 people to do the work. Each of the team members report to a different manager.
You have learned that the team members all have other committed work, besides the project you are leading.
You have concerns about meeting commitments for getting the work done, since the team is juggling competing priorities, and the team does not directly report to you.
Assess the challenges you are facing due to the organizational structure.
Compose a letter to the business owner in which you explain your concerns and how the structure of the organization is a risk in being able to get the work done in a predictable timeframe. Make recommendations to reduce the risks you’ve identified.
