**Utilize the ATTACHED empirical research article about prenatal stress & epigenetics**
-Provide a brief critique and summary of the article following the rubric, followed by an application of the findings of the article to an applied concern. The body of the paper should consist of 3-5 pages, typed and double-spaced text with approximately 25-30% of the text devoted to translation and application of the research finding to a practical concern.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the article in your opinion?  Was it clearly written and have a logical flow? Was the sample size adequate for the type of study that authors conducted? Was the sample representative of the population that was studied? Was relevant and recent literature adequately reviewed in the article? Was the utilized methodology adequate for the research question that the authors were studying? When reading through the Discussion section of your article, take a note of strengths and limitations of the article that authors often describe towards the end of the study; you can use that information in your Critique section of the essay.  
(3)   Article Analysis and Translation/ Application – in this final section of the paper, please indicate how information in this article can be useful for a lay audience or clinicians/ practitioners in the fields of mental health, education, social sciences or a related field. How can information that you summarized and critiqued earlier in your paper be applied to a practical concern? How can we explicitly translate these scientific findings from that article into something usable and practical? What can various individuals (e.g., parents, teachers, educators, clinicians, patients, caregivers, etc.) do with this information from the field of biological psychology? How does information presented in the article benefit the field of psychology and mental health (or a related field)? In summary, a predominant aspect of this paper is taking information presented in the article and translating it into something practical and usable within the field of psychology. This is at the core of any translational science paper.
