This week, we will review how healthcare reform has created both barriers and opportunities for APNs. You will illustrate the use of power, authority, and influence in practice.

Discussion Guidelines
Initial Post
After reviewing page 378 of your textbook, provide an example of a time when you have demonstrated “power” leadership as an RN and how you might demonstrate this leadership quality in the future as an APN.
