This assessment has two parts:
Part A- Review the instructions within the workbook resource and complete your reflection in the ‘Reflection’ tab. The assignment will be automatically submitted on the due date. If you have an extension- it will be automatically submitted on your extension due date.
Your reflection topic must be on prompt listed in the workbook
Part B- Once you receive your feedback on Part A, you will see you have either completed the professional reflection to a satisfactory standard or one or more components of the reflective cycle have been assessed as unsatisfactory, in which case you are required to revise your professional reflection based upon the feedback received. You complete your reflection revision in the ‘Reflection revision’ page of the same workbook. You can copy and paste components assessed as satisfactory into the sections within the ‘Reflection revision’. You are not required to revise sections assessed as satisfactory. You are only required to revise those sections that were assessed as unsatisfactory. Drop-in remediation sessions will be offered in your unit to assist you with further developing your reflective practice skills. Please attend this session to support you ‘Reflection revision’.
Part B requires students to write a selection criteria for future employment using the STAR format. The prompt for your selection criteria is listed in your workbook on the instructions page.
The purpose of this part of the assessment is for you to modify your reflection into a selection criteria example. This aims to develop your employability skills by learning how to use your clinical practice experiences to address selection criteria required for employment.
Selection criteria represent the skills and abilities, knowledge, experience, qualifications and work-related qualities a person needs to perform a role effectively. They set out the standards by which each candidate will be assessed.
Complete a 250-word selection criteria using the STAR framework into the ‘STAR’ page of the same workbook. The selection criteria is mandatory to submit in order to pass this assessment. You will be provided with formative feedback to support your developing employability skills into the future.

If Needed: To Create a New Reflection Workbook if Repeating a Unit
1. In PebblePad account click on the blue ATLAS icon on the toolbar where the PebblePad logo is.
2. On the Members dashboard click on your current or most recent unit.
3. Click on the Resources button at the top.
4. Go to the Additional Reflection Workbook ONLY IF REPEATING UNIT panel and click the Copy button once. It may take a few minutes for it to appear in your Asset Store. See image below.
5. When it appears in your Asset Store click on the ‘i’ for Information icon to far right of asset and then click the Edit link to change the title to include the unit you require it for e.g. Repeat Reflection J46 NPP6106 could become Repeat Reflection J46 20XX NPP6106
6. Then with Information panel still open:
- Click the I want to … button at the top
- Click share with ATLAS and choose the workspace related to the unit and semester you require and the Reflection Assignment from the list **ONLY submit to the Reflection assignment not any of the others **
