Students will choose two topics from the following (covered in the first 4 topics of the semester) to develop two separate reflective pieces submitted as one piece of work.
- History of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the post-colonial experience
- Aboriginal culture, diversity and practices
- Truth telling and cultural safety
- Strengths based culturally safe communication
These reflective submissions can be in the form of;
- Podcast – individual podcast or interview style podcast (5 min)
- Photo yarn – x1 photo plus 500 word reflective written piece/audio reflection (5 min)
- Feature article – 500 word written article
