After you have read the Prezi on “Seeing Something,” watch the Kominas “See Something, Say Something” video and write a response of 600 words (2 pages) to the prompt below. While this response does not have to be as formal in style and tone as an essay, you should still be writing in complete sentences. If you use any source that is external to your brain (Katz, Prezis, or anything you found online), you must properly quote and/or paraphrase, and cite. Failure to do so is plagiarism. Do not plagiarize. The Prompt:Discuss the ways that the “See Something, Say Something” video critiques and mocks the MTA/DHS slogan in order to demonstrate that this vague command is not only absurd and useless but also an invitation to racial profiling. How does the video discredit the paranoid gaze of the white passenger? How does it suggest that the security state’s fear of an undefined suspcious “something” (or “someone”) is harmful to the racially profiled community? How does this slogan also stifle the possibility of multicultural community and belonging?Tips for writing a strong paper:watch the video more than once give detailed analysis of specific scenes/images/sounds to support your claimswrite in complete sentences (every sentence should have a subject and a verb)proofread your paper to double-check for spelling and grammatical errorsdo not use Chat GPT, etc. to generate anything for this paperLate-paper penalty: for every 24 hours that your paper is late, your grade will drop one level.Watch VideoKOMINAS – SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING (OFFICIAL VIDEO)Duration: 4:49User: n/a – Added: 8/12/15YouTube URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6T3Mh9cu8s
