As you explored in this week’s lesson on digestion, scientists continue to discover and learn how our diet affects multiple dimensions of our health, including the microbes in our gut, cardiovascular health, and metabolism, among others. For this discussion, each student will be responsible for reading one of the research articles below and sharing their knowledge with the discussion group. Given the density and length of each article, this assignment is designed for you to utilize generative AI (e.g., ChatGPTLinks to an external site., Google BardLinks to an external site., Microsoft Bing AILinks to an external site., etc.) to help you process the reading.
It is strongly recommended to utilize the prompt found in the “AI to Help Understand Challenging Texts” tab on the Using AI Responsibly page.

Alternatively, you can record your video using the camera on a smartphone or create a Google Slides presentation and use a screen recorder like Screencast-o-matic.
