Overview:
Group Critiques are helpful for getting feedback on your work before you finalize it. Read through all the rough drafts, you will also see a range of examples to learn from and improve your own work.
Assignment Instructions:
For Assignment 2, you will choose two other students’ Redesign a Bad Website and give them feedback on how well they did. You will need to make 2 comments, on 2 different students’ rough drafts which are found on the Rough Draft: Redesign a Bad Website Doc.
How do you critique a peer’s work?
Consider if their choice of website is a good one. At first glance, is it difficult to make sense of the website? Why or why not? There is probably a design principle you are reacting to, you just need to find the correct one. Did they choose a local business?
Read their comments about the website and what they would change and see if you agree with them. Be specific, use terms.
Have they used the most appropriate design principles in their discussion? Are they missing something?
