MC CSC LAB MIPS 1 – Description
Modify the MIPS program in Example 4.4 of the textbook (pages 36-37) as following:
Your MIPS program should be able to KEEP TAKING three integer values from user input until you type in a zero as an input. The program should prompt “Enter the first number:”, “Enter the second number:”, and “Enter the third number:” to get the user inputs. Your program should finish the executionwhen you enter 0 (zero) as an input for the first number.
Your program should perform the two different mathematical operations: addition (first number + second number) and division (first number / third number) and print the results of the operations. As outputs, the program should print “The SUM is:”, “The QUOTIENT is:”, and “The REMAINDER is:” before it prints each of the result of the calculations.
You need to provide detailed comments to explain what is happening in the code. The level of detail will be graded.
You need to use the newlines and spaces properly so that the output prints in an orderly manner.
[Bad Example] The SUM is:45The QUOTIENT is:12….
[Good Example] The SUM is: 45
The QUOTIENT is: 12….
