For Week Two, your Participation Topic is Supply Chains.
As a middle manager of your present company, create an informal memo ( a Word.doc) intended for your boss that addresses the condition of the Supply Chain used by your company. Memo must contain the following:
Definition of a Supply Chain.
Discuss why it is critical to your current company. Note: If you are a full-time student, describe/discuss for a hypothetical company of your choice.
Conclude with a recommendation for improving the company’s existing Supply Chain.
* If you recommend that the current Supply Chain is effective and does not need improvement, then justify (tell me why).
Consider this as a one-page (no more), type-written Memorandum that contains your beneficial Recommendation that you intend to present to your boss.
Be brief and persuasive. Use effective written communication to state your case. Cite one or two outside references max.
No Cover page or References page are needed for this memo.
Use single space sentences typed with Font Size: 12, Font Style: Times New Roman.
