LAVC How to Communicate with The General Public Essay – Description
1. The topic I chose is to make parents more involved regarding what is being taught to their child at school, especially when it might go against a families beliefs.
2. Some people might argue and say that children should be taught things from a younger age so they are more accepting and more understanding of all matters and topics.
3. Parents should have authority over what is being taught to their child because it might be something that goes against their beliefs or they simply don’t want their child to know about certain things.
4. I will be adding my perspective as being a sister to a 3rd grader.
5. Lots of educators have commented regarding students being educated regarding sensitive topics at a young age without parental consent. Lots of educators see my side of it, but lots of them also see if from a different side.
