In this assignment, interview a friend or family member about their experience of language discrimination. If you have experienced language discrimination, you can write a personal reflection. When interviewing others, consider the following questions: What was the context of the experience? What was/have been their experiences with linguistic discrimination? How did they respond? How do the readings inform your understanding of language discrimination? In your written response, make sure to include concepts, ideas, and quotes from the readings to inform your analysis.
