Your organization has formed a security task force to examine the company’s systems and do an audit on the security aspects of the system. As a result of this audit, your task force is to present a report on the current level of security of the systems, including an explanation of the fundamentals of the operating system examined. Further, you must report on the level of security of the software and hardware currently utilized by the organization. You must discuss the structure of storage types, explain how they function, and examine how the operating system controls storage activities when utilizing a magnetic disk type storage, SSDs type storage, and RAID configuration.
The task force is to present a recommendation for improvements in the level of security of the systems. These recommendations should consider any needed changes in software or hardware, any necessary policies, and any employee training that should take place. Ensure you include a summary recommending a particular storage type for the company, and explain why you feel it would be the most advantageous.
