Step 1: Choose
Choose a student about whom you have a concern and who is not already receiving special services.
Step 2: Design
Design a case study of the student.
Identify the student by a pseudonym, and state the reasons for your concern.
Describe and analyze the student’s characteristics, including demographic, academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and others.
Based on what you know or learn through research about the student, project how collaboration might be used to assist the student, obstacles that might need to be overcome, and potential solutions to overcoming them. Think about people and other resources in the school, in the community, and/or online.
Step 3: Submit
Submit your final 3 to 5-page case study.
