  1. Identify which of Erikson’s eight stages of psychosocial development is most
    significant in understanding lifespan development. Provide a clear explanation
    supported by relevant theory and research.
  2. Using a fond childhood memory, compare and contrast Erikson’s psychosocial theory
    and Freud’s psychosexual theory of development. In your response, address the
    following:
    -Which stage of development in Erikson’s theory does your memory fit into?
    -Which stage of Freud’s developmental theory does your memory fit into?
  • How Erikson and Freud explain the impact of this experience on your development?
  • A critical evaluation of the extent to which each theory accounts for childhood experiences
    and their influence on lifespan development (refer to your fond childhood experience in your
    answer.)
