Find a person to interview from each generation and ask them the following questions. Be sure to include in your submission which you interviewed (their name) in each section and your relation to them/ how you know them. You should also include the year they were born. You can use relatives, friends, classmates, relatives of friends, significant others, co-workers, neighbors, and others for this assignment. Please record their answers near the questions in the assignment.
Part I: Baby Boomer-Born 1946 to 1964 (2 points)
1. What is your biggest/greatest health challenge, and how do you cope with it? Do you seek medical care for it?
2. Has it been easier or harder to seek healthcare as you have gotten older? Why so?
3. What is your view on retirement?
Part II: Generation X-Born 1965 to 1979 (2 points)
1. Do you have a family or know anyone who has raised a family? What were your (or their) biggest challenges in raising a family and why?
2. What was the driving force in your career choice?
3. How do you manage stress?
Part III: Millennial or Generation Y-Born 1980 to 1995 (2 points)
1. Do you have student loan debt or know anyone with student loan debt? Has it impacted your (or their) life? How so?
2. How do you manage your work/career with traveling and enjoying life?
3. On a scale 1-10 with one being least important and ten being most important, how important is physical health to you?
Part IV: Generation Z- Born 1996 to 2010 (2 points)
1. If you use social media, what are the main reasons why you use it? If you do not, why have you chosen not to use it?
2. When you hear someone mention “mental health,” what comes to your mind?
3. What is your greatest challenge in life right now, and what is the one thing you are doing very well with in life right now?
Part V: Reflections (2 points)
1. In your opinion, what preventative health strategies will help Gen Z and Millennials? 2. Regarding health and wellness, is there one generation that causes you concern within our society, or do you think each cohort has an equal number of challenges and issues?
3. Throughout your interview, which generation’s answers did you find the most interesting and why?
