HGTC Establishing Branch Offices in Islamic Countries Discussion – Description
Respond to student:
When setting up a company branch office in an Islamic country, you have to take a lot to consideration. Of course the locals in the office will serve as a guide to the Americans when first arriving to the country. The Americans will be required to adapt to the Islamic culture. In the office we will adapt to the holidays that the Islamic country has. Accommodate to making sure we have the day off for the religion holidays. Of course the Islamic country is passionate about their religion so the office will make sure Americans have a respectful and deep understanding of the religion. The office will require the Americans to ask questions to the locals if they are confused about anything or feel like they are offending any part of the culture. The office will have rooms where Muslims can do their praying and feel free to put any religion objects. The office will also have a strict dress code. I feel like having a dress code will make employees more aware about how important the religion truly is. Enforcing these rules will help the Americans understand Islamic culture better. The locals will guide Americans have a deeper understanding of their culture and will bring the community together so no one is offending someone.
