GMU Technology Analyst at Bank of America Summary – Description

One critical skill in the technical world is being able to communicate and summarize information through multiple channels, both oral and written. Sometimes you will be given a lengthy period of time to explain a complex topic; in other scenarios, you will be given a short elevator ride as management presses you for relevant information during meetings. This assignment will be an exercise in brevity as you will be required to write one paragraph, no more than 5 sentences, about the following:

This semester’s project/internship/job and explain how it will advantageously position you for a successful career transition. Envision yourself professionally networking with someone who is extremely short on time but needs to understand what you’re doing and where you want to go.( internship details below )

This assignment is intentionally vague because you can be creative in structuring the approach. If you think it’s important to provide personal background, go for it. You have to prioritize what is most important in 5 sentences or less to leave someone with a good impression of you, your background, aspirations, experience, etc. I will be giving detailed feedback on each submission but will be grading based on the submission of one paragraph, no longer than five sentences, free from grammtical errors, addressing the aforementioned criteria. Spend some time pulling this together so that you can actually use the material in future engagements (either written or presented orally)!
