ASSESSMENT 3: DISCUSSION BOARD POSTS (30%)

Word Count: 1500 words (+/-10%)
To complete this assessment, you must regularly participate in the weekly learning activities/discussion board. You must demonstrate that you engaged regularly in the online discussions with other students during each week of the unit.
Each week, you will find a discussion topic posted in the “Help and Discussion Forum” on Moodle. You are required to:
• Write a discussion post responding to the topic of the week.
• Respond to at least one other student’s post each week.
Posts should be regular each week, as the consistency of your participation will affect your marks. Each post should be approximately 150 words (+/- 10%)
Compile everything into a single document with a coversheet for submission to Moodle by the end of week 10:
• Select 5 of your original discussion posts
• Select 5 of your responses to other students
Each of the 10 posts should be labelled with:
• Week number.
• Date the post was made on the discussion board.
Make sure to post regularly, as missing weeks or inconsistent and late participation will impact your marks.
Ensure that your original posts and responses are from different weeks. For example, if you select your original post from Week 1, your response to another student must be from a different week (e.g., Week 2, Week 3, etc.).
Key points to remember:
• All posts should be well-thought-out and directly address the discussion topic.
• Ensure your responses to fellow students add value by providing an additional point or offering a different perspective. Avoid repeating what other students have already written. Instead, ensure your post contributes something valuable to the discussion.
• Aim for clarity, critical and reflective thinking in each post.
• Maintain a respectful and constructive tone when responding to others.
The final document should contain 10 posts in total, with each post being 150 words (+/-10%). The total word count for the 10 posts should be 1500 words (+/-10%).
You must use APA 7 referencing. Your assessment should include at least 10 (scholarly) journal articles you have read and any additional textbook references in your reference list.
