You will closely examine one source using what you have learned in class and determine if it is a solid source to use for YOUR final cause-and-effect paper or not. You are basically asking yourself the following question: Is this source good enough to use in my final paper? Why or why not?
Your evaluation should closely look at one of the articles that scored average on the CRAAP tests. You don’t want to evaluate your best source, and you already know that your worst source will not be used for your final paper. It’s the source that you are questioning whether or not it is good enough to use in the final research paper that you will want to evaluate. Use the questions of the CRAAP test to guide your writing and help you to organize your paper. You must use the terms ethos, pathos, logos, and kiaros in your paper!!!
Students will upload their Evaluation Paper. Any paper not submitted online will result in a zero. Any paper sent via email or Canvas Inbox will not be graded. Papers are due by the assigned date and time. Any paper marked as late will result in a 10% reduction in grade. Any papers later than seven days will result in a zero with no chance to make up the assignment.
Any papers with more than a 20% TurnItIn plagiarism score are subject to a zero with the opportunity to correct one time within four days of the due date.
What it looks like:
