For this benchmark, you will revise the lessons you developed in Topic 5 and Topic 6 for the unit outlined in Topic 3. Use the feedback you received from your mentor teacher, as well as your experience and self-reflection to inform your revisions.

In addition, use the “COE Lesson Plan Template” to create the unit’s third lesson plan, integrating a creative art of your choice. The creative art can range from art, music, drama, or dance.

Each lesson plan should include:

At least one state standard and aligned objective to assist with planning, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally meaningful and challenging learning opportunities.
Meaningful integration of the literacy and language arts content with the creative arts.
Developmentally appropriate learning activities and resources to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
Differentiated teaching and learning strategies and activities to meet diverse learning needs (linguistic, cultural, and developmental) and achieve individual learning outcomes.
Complete all sections of the “COE Lesson Plan Template” including multiple means of representation, engagement, and expression.

Compile your unit outline from Topic 3 and all three lesson plans as one submission.
