Design a detailed lesson plan using one of the models and instructional strategies discussed in class on a topic commonly taught in grades 6-12. Be sure to include:
– the grade level
– the background of the students
– the content objectives
– the mathematics content and mathematical practice standards addressed in the lesson; necessary prerequisite skills
– the aim of the lesson
– how students will be grouped
– how students will be assessed
– anticipated questions that will be asked during the lesson
– Lesson structure/activities
