Data-Driven Instruction and Assessment

Read Chapter 1 in Leverage Leadership 2.0, watch the clips in the DVD as you read through the chapter. Complete the Data-Driven Instruction and Assessment Implementation Rubric (located on the DVD) to assess the current state of data-driven instruction and assessment in your school. Total the points. Write a summary of your school’s status and propose steps that should be taken to refine your school’s use of data. Include a statement relative to the value of Data-Driven Instruction to your school.
Glance back through Chapter 1 of Leverage Leadership 2.0 and list the five Core Ideas that you believe your school needs to take note of to make positive change. Write a summary of your thoughts about the impact that each of those five core ideas could have on your school if the faculty and administration were to make an effort to improve in each of those five areas.
