Background
Working in a team, the International Business Project (IBP) requires you to develop an international business plan, strategies, and tactics for doing business in a foreign nation (not the USA) for a product, service, or idea of your choice. Each team is encouraged to use their own ideas and creativity in all stages of the project planning and implementation.
The IBP project consists of a 15-page written report and corresponding PowerPoint presentation (minimum of 15 slides) submission with an audio commentary which must follow the IBP Guidelines and Requirements due in Module 4. You will complete a segment of the report in each module. This is a group project so expect your professor to assign you to a team in Module 1. Include at least 3-5 in-text citations per page using APA guidelines for no less than 25 sources used in final written report.

Getting Started
For the Module 1 assignment, complete your Topic Proposal and the Company Background for the IBP outlined below which includes the first aspect of your report. Note: Topics must deal with international business issues. Issues of political, military, cultural, and other nature are only acceptable if there is a direct and evident global business implication clearly explained in the paper. Papers lacking such connection will receive a reduced score.

Develop the first segment of your final IBP report. Make sure to include a cover page and address the company background within the body of your report using the outline provided.
