A critical evaluation is a systematic and objective analysis of an issue, concept, or product.
In order to apply a critical evaluation within your report, follow these steps:
1. Define the criteria:
Establish what you will use as the basis for your evaluation.
2. Gather information:
Collect data and other relevant materials to support your evaluation. This could include academic journals, reports, and expert opinions.
3. Analyse the information:
Examine the information you have gathered and identify patterns, trends, and relationships. Look for strengths and weaknesses in the information and assess the validity and reliability of the sources.
4. Evaluate the issue or product:
Apply the criteria you have defined to the issue or product you are evaluating. Use the information you have gathered to support your analysis. Be objective and present a balanced view, considering both the positive and negative aspects of the issue or product. Please remember to include security considerations as a business issue.
5. Reach a conclusion:
Sum up your evaluation, drawing together the key points you have made and providing a clear and concise summary of your finding.
It is important to be systematic and rigorous in your approach to a critical evaluation, and to support your analysis with evidence. This will ensure that your evaluation is robust, credible, and convincing. The report should define the cloud computing infrastructure components that you have chosen and discuss its adoption and utilisation within your identified (NZ) business, to solve the business problem/issue.
