If you are not currently teaching, you should build your project around your vision of your ideal classroom. Compose a paper that details your classroom management plan. Your paper must be a minimum of 1,500 words (not including the required title and references pages) and must be formatted in current APA style. You must include at least six citations from a minimum of four sources. At least one source must be the Bible, one source the course textbook, and two sources must be peer-reviewed research articles published within the last seven years. Refer to the Writing Style Guides link in the course’s left-hand navigation menu for examples of how to form citations and references to the Bible and articles. You can access peer-reviewed journal articles from online.

Include the following sections of discussion in your paper:

1.Classroom Motto: State the Bible verse for your classroom that reflects your classroom management plan. Explain why you chose the Bible verse. Include a motto that defines your classroom climate. Include why you chose that motto.

2.Philosophy: Clearly state your basic teaching philosophy. Explain your proactive techniques for minimizing off-task behavior. Describe your plan for reaching students with differing needs.

3.Classroom Diversity: Identify the type of school in which your classroom is located, its grade level, number of students, and types of diversities. Include any other relevant data that demonstrates the uniqueness of your students.

4.Learning Environment: Clearly explain how your classroom learning environment supports a diverse population. Include three or more modes of learning in your discussion. Explain how creating a responsive classroom supports a positive learning environment.

5.Room Arrangement: Describe the arrangement of your classroom. Explain why this arrangement works best for this class. Include an illustrated example or picture.

6.Student Motivation: Identify three or more strategies you will use for motivation. Clearly discuss how you will use each strategy to engage your students in learning.

7.Classroom Procedures: Identify five or more procedures in your classroom. Clearly explain how you will use each procedure and teach the procedures to your students.

8.Classroom Rules: Positively and concisely state your 4-6 classroom rules. Explain why you need each rule and how you will teach the rules to your students.

9.Consequences: explain your response plan to address misbehavior, starting with the principle of least intervention. Include your reward system for on-task behavior. Include an example of the behavior contract you will use.

10.Record-Keeping: Discuss three or more record-keeping systems in your classroom. Include your grading system. Also, include one example or sample from your record-keeping system.

11.Parent Communication: Discuss how you will promote open communication in your classroom with the parents. Include three or more ways you will regularly interact with the parents in your classroom. Include one example or sample of parent communication.

12.Biblical Integration: Provide a defense for how your project demonstrates each of the five SCRIP dispositions:

Social Responsibility: love, joy, peace, goodness

Commitment to the Profession: faithfulness, longsuffering

Reflective Practice: faithfulness

Integrity: goodness

Professionalism: gentleness, meekness, temperance
