Case Study – Building a Team
Students assemble a team of professionals who might assist the student in the case study. Their professional knowledge and skills are assessed in relation to how they can use them to help the student.
Create a 10- to 15- slide presentation (not including the title and reference slides) for your response.
Use APA format for the reference slide and citations. Use research to support your work.
Develop an introduction and conclusion for your presentation.
Follow the directions to complete the assignment.
Continue work on the case study. Using what you learned in the course and your own research, assemble a team of professionals who might assist the student in your case study. Create a profile of each team member.
Step 1: Introduce
Introduce your presentation by discussing the importance of assembling a team and how you went about assembling a list of ideal team members for your student.
Step 2: Create
Create a profile of each team member.
Introduce each individual.
Explain his/her role.
Explain how his/her professional knowledge and skills will be beneficial to the student.
You do not need to include names. You may want a school psychologist on the team, or a general education teacher on the team, and you can discuss these individuals and the expertise they would bring to this case without including a name of a particular person.
Step 3: Conclude
Conclude your presentation with a slide that summarizes and ties together what was discussed in the presentation.
Step 4: Submit
Submit you final 10 to 15-slide presentation.
