Body Section #1 – Description
STEP ONE: Write Body Section #1, which corresponds to Reason #1 on your TRE chart. This may be a long paragraph, or multiple paragraphs.

Using appropriate signal verbs and connecting phrases
Incorporating evidence that is either summarized, paraphrased, or quoted
Commenting on evidence in order to JOIN the conversation (tie back to your CLAIM about WHO needs to change, WHY, and HOW)
