ASU Personality Reflection Magazine Cover Exercise – Description
You will be creating a magazine cover that is reflective of your personality.
Your cover must include the following:
Masthead
Date line
Banner
Main image of you and credit
Background
Anchorage copy for each cover line
Six to eight cover lines
Demonstration of design elements, principles, typography, and color theory
Where to begin:
Storyboard your idea. Jot down some cover lines, Magazine Masthead titles etc.
Look at Photographs of yourself or take one. Make edits. Try not to take yourself to seriously. If you envision yourself with blue hair give yourself blue hair.
Once you have a plan:
Start Photoshop and create a new document.
Your file size should be US Letter 8.5 X 11
You are submitting this assignment digitally therefore you do not need to worry about RGB or DPI.
