Assessment 1: An e-Poster

Create an e-Poster that illustrates your understanding of how to apply reflection theories/models to the specific clinical situation. Choose one theory/model you have learned in this unit and justify how the theory is relevant to address a selected clinical situation. This assessment has a weighting of 20%. The assessment should be structured under the same headings as the marking rubric, please consider the How to prepare and submit assessment: A Guide for IHM Students carefully as you construct your assessment.

How to make EPosters

The ePoster assignment is the first multimedia assignment of your course. Displaying information visually is an important communication skill. The following video introduces the basics of making an ePoster using a free online application known as Canva.

Instructions

Identify a clinical/situation/issue and select ONE nursing model/theory that can be used to address that issue.Define the model, justify how it can be used to address your topic, and link its elements to the nursing standards for practice and codes of conduct in AustraliaInformation cited from unreliable websites, pamphlets or magazines is not acceptable for this paper. Your poster needs to be created in a single document, using graphic software such as Canva, Adobe, Piktochart, or any other helpful tool and submitted to the Canvas along with the word document.Students have to submit a word document with all information in the poster into CANVAS to check similarity. Therefore, students will be submitting two files when they are submitting the assignment. One is the word document (with the same information in the e- poster) and the other one is the e- poster.
