What am I required to do in this assignment?
- Identify a current Social Care or Health Integrated Care Service (ICS) in the UK
- Design a presentation (this can be a Poster or a Podcast or power-point slides (not more than 2 slides) for your chosen ICS service that shows a realistic proposal that showcases how you will redesign the service with focus on strategies for improving and sustaining inclusivity.
- For your focus for improving and sustaining inclusivity this can be related to the workforce (for example, improvements to Staffing, Management, Leadership) or related to people who are referred to or need to access the service (For example, improving accessibility for disadvantaged or marginalised groups).
- You must present a rationale for the improvement with reference to relevant legislation and/or policy that mandates inclusivity.
- You must ensure you submit your design with an audio-video presentation in which you outline your proposed changes and provide the reasoning behind your approach.
- If you choose to do a Power-point or Poster, you must include in-text citations and a reference list in the power-point or Poster.
- If you choose to do a podcast you must submit a summary of your topic which must contain in-text citations and a reference list.
- There needs to be a minimum of ten reference sources cited and referenced correctly in Harvard style.
- You must include in text and academic sources. You are permitted to use some internet sources. Examples of internet sources you can use are NHS England; The Kingβs Fund; Local Authority publications; Government publications; Social Care institute for Excellence (SCIE); National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE); publications produced by UK Universities; Nuffield Trust; the Health Foundation and relevant TED talk via YouTube or podcasts.
- Avoid Non-academic and non-reliable sources including general internet sites and newspaper articles.
