ASU Education & Teaching Formative Assessment Discussion – Description
You have a student teacher who doesn’t understand how to use formative assessment as part of a lesson. The student teacher primarily uses quizzes and tests that are more summative in nature. After the student teacher has taught one of your lessons, provide feedback in the form of a graphic organizer for your student teacher.
You should suggest three (3) specific formative assessments, how they could have used each in the lesson, and what “data” they could gain from the assessments to inform their instruction. Be sure to reference at least three (3) of the readings or videos from this week in your graphic organizer response.
