Goal-setting and creating an action plan to achieve those goals is part of professional practice and a tool to encourage continued growth. After completing your SWOT Analysis, create and share your goals and action plan with your peers.
1. Create goals: In your SWOT Analysis, you defined your weaknesses and identified resources to help support you. As you approach the end of your nursing program, create 2-3 professional SMART goals you want to achieve before you take NCLEX. Share these with your peers.
2. Create a plan: Identify at least 3 interventions you will implement to achieve your goals.
3. Create Community: While you are following different paths in life, you are all here with one common goal – to be a Registered Nurse. Take this opportunity to offer words of encouragement or post a motivational quote for your peers.
